You are looking at a picture of the main character in the book, “Bunny”. As a baby, Bunny resembled a fluff ball and would dart out from behind flower pots and bushes as I pottered around the garden.
During the brief encounters, I tried to communicate with Bunny to let him know that he was safe in my garden and had nothing to fear. I did this by creating images of bunnies in my mind – images of friendly bunnies hopping around happily as they nibbling on grass. I doubt very much that my weak attempts at mental telepathy worked at all!
But what this did spawn was the idea of writing a book about a baby bunny dispensing life lessons and wise answers to age-old concepts like Knowing Oneself, Balance, Friendship, Loss and Happiness.
